According to mi experience in this class, I think that I enjoy it a lot for many reasons, but the most important is the people I’ve shared including all my classmates and miss Belen, the classes were really fun  even though the day and the English class schedule. The contents are according to our interests and I believe will be useful.

It is hard to make a self-evaluation, but the structure of the class that was new for me it help me to improve my speaking and to have conversation pretty decent.

Also blogging in class help me to improve other important abilities, for example at the beginning when we have to write the blog it take me  a lot of time to write 100 words, but now it is more easy for me, to find some information and write a small paragraph.

So if I have to make an evaluation of the pros & cons I think that there are not many cons and the pros are so much more.

my favourite animated film

My favourite animated film is mulan, the first part of the movie  was released in 1998, actually I watch this film a few years later, because I was 4 years old when it was released.
The movie It is about the story of a chinise girl wich name is Fa Mulan, she is the only daughter of an old warrior of the chinese army. The problems begin when her father is called to fight in the war, so she decides to stand in his place, disguising herself as a young man named "Ping".After this decision, she lived many adventures always with her protector dragon Mushu.
Also at  the end of her adventures she found the love, whit the captain Li Shang.
I like so much this movie because is not the typical disney movie, where the princess felt in love with the prince and they are happy ever after, Mulan is not the typical girl, she does not fit in the stereotypes of the chinese society.
Obviously the movie has the romantic part, but I can feel more identified  with this movie than others.You can know what happened  to Mulan in the second part of the movie.

The bicycle thief

The bicycle thief or in italian Ladri di biciclette  is an italian film from 1948 , directed by Vittorio de Sica.This neorealist  film is about a poor man with his son , they are in Rome searching the bicycle of the father because someone stole it, and it’s very tragic because if he dont get his bycicle  he can’t work, and that is the only way they have to survive.

This movie is based on a novel from luigi Bartolini, I’ m not going to tell you the end of the movie, because you have to see it. But I can tell you that this  film reflect in a very good way the poverty and alienation, shows that sometimes the situation leads  the person to do things that  are wrong. It can help you to meditate about the social injustice.Also enhance the strong bond between a father and his son

Finally I would lke to invite you to watch this film, because is a classic that shows  some situations that still happen today . So in my opinion this movie make a strong social criticism and it is important that we  think about it.

greenpeace

Greenpeace is an environmental organization , their biggest goal is"ensure the ability of the Earth to nurture life in all it diversity". Their focus the campaings in some problems like: global warming, deforestation, overfishing,comercial whaling and antinuclear issues.
In  1972, The Don't Make a Wave committee changed their official name to Greenpeace Foundation. While the organization was founded under a different name in 1970 and was officially named Greenpeace in 1972, the organization itself dates their birth to the first protest of 1971.
I’m going to talk about now of the environmental problem I found more remarkable “The overfishing and the protection of the oceans “ especially the Pacific Ocean. Without the oceans the life on the planet would not exist and the humans are extinguishing many marine species , their habitat has been destroy and the ocean is loosing their natural hability to recover from all the damage the cause.
We have to defend our oceans, because it is not coincidence that the 80 % of the planet is water.

This is my favourite pothograph and was taken by Henrie Cartier-Bresson  in 1932, I like so much this pothograph because it capture the perfect moment , I dont know if is just lucky or he was in the right  moment and in the right place but for me this picture is extraordinary , besides the picture was taken with an old camera, so has even more value because in that time was imposible to fixed with photoshop and the photographer refused to edit his images with the technology of that time,also the photograph  tell us a history, you can imagine so many things related to the person in the photograph , there are something behind the picture .

The photograph shows  a man jumping on a flooded street, but you can also see his reflection on the water, and is like an ilusion, because  you can see the person up side down.This picture was taken in Paris, France.

my favourite city :)

Today my topic is about my favourite city of Chile.From my point of  view Iquique is one of the most beautiful and funniest cities in this country , it is located in the region of Tarapacá and is the local capital.It name means "place of rest" and this meaning goes perfect with the reality of Iquique.The principal tourist atracttions are the beach because is a port city and  one of the largest duty-free commercial port centers better known like "ZOFRI".

I think that this city it is more than that, and one of the reasons I have for tell this, is because I lived there nearly all my life, for example, the best known beach and the most popular is "Cavancha" but Iquique have much more beachs next to it,makig an approach are like 20 diferents beachs.

If you allow me to make you an advice, I can tell you some things you must do if you go there: one is practice paragliding, is an experience you will never forget, another extreme sport you can practice is surf it is very exciting too, and if you don't like extreme sports you have many others things to do, like visiting "Pica" or Baquedano boulevard.

My favourite piece of technology

Hi!  Today I am going to talk about my favourite piece of technology, I think that the best invent of the recent years is the MP3, maybe is not the most amazing invent or the most useful, but for me it is really important and I like it so much because I can listen to music everywhere and make boring moments much more fun.
The MP3 is a consumer electronics device that is capable of storing and playing digital media such as audio, images, video, and documents. I got my first MP3 when I was 13 years old and now I have another one more advanced and with better storage capacity.
I use my MP3 every day, when I go to the university or on weekends when I go to walk around the city or to practice sports.
If some day I don’t have it, probably my life would change because the MP3 helps me to disconnect from the routine.

my favourite band :)

My favourite band is green day ,  this is an american  punk rock band form in 1987 .The members of the band  are : Billy Joe Armstrong  who is the lead vocalist, Mike Dirnt is the bassist and Tree Cool play the drums.Theirfirst album is “Dookie”, but the most famous and successful album of this band is “American Idiot”, on 2010 the band started a world tour to promote the last album they brought in to the market which name is “21st Century Breakdown”. I like so much this band for two reasons the first one is because their songs always have a message behind, and they are not afraid to express their ideals with the musicand the second reason is I am a fan since I was 12 years old and now many years later I still feel identify with their songs.
Honestly I have two favourite songs, the first one is a cover and it name is “Working class hero”and the other song is “21st Century Breakdown”.
